Bayshore Dog and Cat Care has been a family run business since its founding more than 25 years ago. We have had 4 owners in that time. Our current owners are long time dog and cat lovers. Frank and Jeff grew up in a family that raised and showed champion Siamese cats in Illinois. Frank has also been privileged to be loved by a half dozen canine friends over the years. He currently has two dogs; a Golden Retriever named Britney, and a rescued Shepherd/Terrier mix named Trumpet. Jeff has a Russian Blue cat named Misty.
We have been caring for animals here on the Peninsula for many years. Our staff has been trained to provide the highest standard of care to our animal guests.
Many of our clients have come to us with several generations of dogs and cats and have become a part of our extended family.

When Michael was young, he helped his mother groom their two dogs, As he got older, he began grooming the neighbors' dogs and found that he had an innate ability to relate to dogs and manage their different personalities.
He changed direction, studied business, began a career in retail, and managed different Bay Area businesses. One day he adopted a sheltie and during their regular trips to pet stores, Michael started observing different groomers, and ultimately decided that grooming was his natural vocation.
He received his professional training at PetCo and groomed professionally for four years. He became a grooming manager, and began training other groomers in Novato, San Rafael, San Ramon, and Tracy. Michael loves working with all dogs and his specialty is grooming herding breeds and wire coats.
Michael enjoys creating a unique relationship with each client and their special pet. His favorite part of grooming is being around pets and having the ability to make a difference in their lives. He looks forward to meeting you and catering to your special companion's needs.
